Pink Batts
If your home has little or no ceiling insulation installing Pink Batts is a very wise choice. Even if you do have some insulation, it may not be enough (often the case with homes built 1999 or earlier), so contact us to complete an energy audit in your home or business, and see how you may qualify for an EECA subsidy. Around 42% of heat escapes through the ceiling so 'Top Up' your old insulation with another layer of Pink Batts ceiling insulation.
In conjunction with the ceiling insulation, ensuring you have under floor insulation is a key ingredient to energy efficiency and comfort. To meet EECA funding requirements, and help you get on top of under floor chills, give us a call tor provide a free energy audit. We can then provide accurate information and recommendations for both ceiling and under floor insulation. Terra Lana
Product Description
Terra Lana Wool Insulation is manufactured from recycled natural wool fibers, and up to 20% low melt polyester bonding fiber. The fibers are blended, carded and thermally bonded to produce Terra Lana Wool Insulation batting and blanket. The batting and blanket is cut to the required size, compressed and packaged. The product varies in colour from light to dark grey.
Applications
Terra Lana Thermal Insulation is designed for use as a safe, efficient thermal insulation in commercial buildings and dwellings.
Environmental
Wool is a sustainable renewable resource. Terra Lana Insulation is 100% recyclable.
Health and Safety
Manufactured from Wool/Polyester, Terra Lana requires no special safety apparatus and is clean and safe to use.
Durability
When used, installed and maintained in accordance with BRANZ Appraisal 369 and the Terra Lana Installation Guide, Terra Lana wool insulation will meet the provisions of NZBC B2.3.1 (a), (b) and (c) 50, 15 and 5 years respectively.
